Doctor
Visits
Regular
visits each month are for the safety for yourself and safety of your child. As you get closer
your to pregnancy around 7 months, having bi-weekly visits might be
best. Usually it is best to have an ultrasound by month 8.
Possible
C-Section
Prepare
for all your needs in case of possible c-section. If you have
other children, you will need to make arrangements for a a place for them to stay during
childbirth. Pack toys and clothing in a suitcase for them ahead o time.
Hospital
Stay
Have the suit case packed, your kids toys
such as color books and building blocks, focus items, child sitter, and
be sure you track
your coach be sure to know where they are at all times during your last
month. You may also need sanitary napkins for the trip to the
hospital. Sometimes there
is a heavy discharge even if your
water has not broke. And,
of course you will need them after
the birth on the trip home. Discuss
what kind of drugs, if any, that
you have available to make your
delivery more comfortable. Be
sure the doctor understands your
preferences. Also, be prepared
to make changes in pain once the
labor begins. You may change
your mind and ask for some of the
pain killers available. Be

Remember
to take your vitamins so you can have a happy, healthy baby and Mommie. Ask
your Dr. what prenatal vitamins they prefer. Do not take any
prenatal vitamins without consulting your doctor first.
Maternity
Clothing
Plan
ahead for the later months, save money buying the clothing as you
go. You can save money by shopping second had stores or wearing
family and friends hand me downs. Remember, you don't need new
maternity clothing, you will only be wearing them for a short time.
Child
Birth Classes Take
child birth classes. Breathing is very important and will help
you deal with the pain. Take
a class and be sure you practice
before the birth.
