Dear Doris,

Received your letter this morning met the mail man and he gave me a whole handful of letters but I had to read yours first.

You won't have to bring sheets and pillow cases as there is some there and every thing will be o.k.  Only that it is only a one room camp.  We can fix it up at the telegraph office about a telegram for Viv. if she should get one.  Glad to hear you are goint to have some hunting togs so you can come with me as I have got to be in the woods most of the time with these young dogs especially the first two weeks in October.

Glad to know that you are coming and you can bet your life I am still holding everything for my sweet little wife.  (Why wouldn't I.)  I guess I am as bad as you can hardly waite until I see you Tuesday evening.  I won't be worth a nickel Tuesday as I will be just counting the time until I get into depot square in Gardiner.   Well I must cut this short as I have to get up real early in the morning to take some dogvs down to the field trials.

Got a wire tonight to meet some people at the trials, will be a big day but won't be able to have many wneezers as I got to do business with them.  That is always the way when I get a chance I can't accept them.  Well the time will drag like h___ until I see you Tuesday evening.  So be very careful and not let anything happen to you.  So be a good young one.  Will expect to see you in there know later than 7 o'clock p.m.

Wishing you all a very good trip.  Remember to Jack & Viv.  Hoping the time will fly.

With love,

Pete
