Dear Doris,

Sure was glad to hear your voice to night wished like hell some times that we were a lot nearer each other so we could be to gether more often.

I am very busy these days with the dogs and trying to be a house maid let me say it is some job the days are not long enough.

I don't have time enough to answer my mail only yours and I have to take time for that.

I really haven't had time to get acquainted with the house yet so it is hard for me to answer your questions in regards to the house.  You will just have to come up and look it over.

I have got a peach of a cold had it for a week.  It just starts to get better when I get soaking wet and half froze and then it gets worse again.

Hold on here is somebody driving in the yard so will have to stop.

Wednesday morning am going to close this so as I can get it in the mail will try and write you tonight.  The people came last night didn't leave until late so I was so damed tired that I went to bed not much better this a.m. but have got to get started.

Thanks a lot for the phone call last night did you hear the neighbors listening in.  That is what happens evey time my telephone rings some body answers it before I do.  Well must hurry now as I have to be in Gardiner at 7:30 a.m.  will be looking for your letter to night when I get back. Good bye dear X

Lots of love

Pete
