Dear Doris,
I would like to know if you still feel the same as you did about comming up here and living with me. If you don't care to live with me and act like a wife should will you kindly let me know by Wednesday by letter. If I don't here by then I shall have to proceed to get a divorce as I can not live the way we are living
I am very sorry to have to do this as I really believed you were sincere and was willing to share together when we got married and let the past be the past and start to look for a little happiness in the future. Unfortunately it hasn't turned out that way and probably it never will for us.
If I have done you any wrong since living with you to have hurt your character I am very sorry.
Sincerely Yours,
Pete
