Dear Doris, X
Received your letter this am. You are fully recovered and feel like your self again. Sounds good to know that you are all right and full of pep.
This has been a very warm day almost melted have got a few dogs that I have got to get ready for the first weeks in October so I am giving them h___.
Now in regards to coming up here I think you had better plan on getting here on Tuesday evening and I will meet your people in Gardiner at depot square then I can take you out to camp. Let me know what time you leave down there and I will try and be there when you arrive so you won't have to waite long as I know you will be tired of riding when you get here. ? I have got a place but can't move in until the middle of October. Swell place all furnished will let you know all about it when we have our talk together. Keep quite about this to every one as they will all know in plenty of time. Thought probably I would be located by the time you people got here but can't be done. Can hardly waite until I see you wished you were here tonight great moon reminds me of that song
Moonlight and Roses.
I suppose you had a great time at the wedding.
Tell me all about your dream: it will be great if you do dress so you can come in the woods with me and the dogs think the experience will be great for you.
Well old dear must close now every so sleepy I can hardly keep my eyes open. If I have any legs left on me by the time this season is over I think I will be quite some boy. So I am going to bid you good night and I surely hope you will be able to come up for a few days any way.
Good night sweetie see you in the morning.
With Love,
Pete
P.S. Read the letter enclosed and picture me riding a horse Sat. & Sun.

Dear Sir-
I am pinch hitting for both Ray Mills and Harry Adams as they are both tied up on other buisness.
We would like to have you act as one of the (Judges) next Saturday and Sunday if it is possible for you to do so. With good weather it looks as if we would have a fine dog meet.
Thanking you for your willingness to act as one of the Judges in advance, and expecting to see you at Peland Springs.
I am,
Respectfully yours,
Ward Kilgore,
