Rec. of James Hardison of the above named state and county, Five Hundred and
Fifty dollars in payment in full for a certain negro woman by the name of
Harriet which I have sold and delivered to him. To have and to hold forever
and I do by those present for my self his estate and Admin. warrant and defend
the rights and title of said Harriet unto the said James Hardison his heirs, Estate,
adminis. and assign forever. In witness which I have here unto set my hand and
seal. Jany. 20th 1862
