Sunday Night
Dear Edith,
I have been thinking about you a great deal lately. Why don't you come down to New Haven a stay for a while and get some rest.
I know you will think you can come but it will be better than get sick. Shut the house up for the winter and let the men folks live where they can get enough to eat and a place to sleep for a while.
Think this over and let me know if you will come.
It has rained for 3 days now and not cold but I'm about ready to see a little sunshine.
Work begins to pick up a little but we are working on short time yet.
I'm all right and I wish I could say the same for you.
Love to you both,
Charlie
Sunday.
