Spruill, Lowel Lynn father of Marion Sue	World War II	My dad fought in WW II. His name was Lowel Lynn Spruiell. He was a Capt. and fought on the German front, receiving a Bronze Star in France and a Purple Heart in Germany.

Promoted to rank of Sergt. 1917. Fought at Flanders. Gassed at Ypres, Belgium, Aug. 24, 1918. Served on Mexican border six months. Mustered out at Camp Lee, Va., March 8, 1919.
