"Pine Bluff is located in Jefferson County. It lies south of Little Rock along Hwy 365, on the banks of the Arkansas River. The city also is near the Bartholomew Bayou.

Downtown Pine Bluff features murals reflecting the community's history, including Civil War battles in the area.

Holiday season heralds the Regional Park's Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends, which glows with more than one million lights. Pine Bluff also is home to Arkansas's sole authentic Japanese garden, a gift from Sister City, Iwai. Among other points of interest is the Band Museum, the only institution dedicated entirely to the history of band music and instruments; and the Stuttgart Museum, home of the "Coat of Many Duck Heads," comprising the hides and feathers of 450 green mallard heads. Catfish angling and deer hunting are popular in the area. The University of Arkansas has a campus in the city."
