Many people in Italy recognize English words and phrases..the most common is "no problemo" their children learn english in school and they watch CNN so.....

IF you try using an ENGLISH word ...you must pronounce that word using their vowel system..

Many people use and totally understand "ONE" word instead of a sentence...it is better to perfect the pronounciation of one word that's understood instead of looking like a fool trying to use their grammar...and not make yourself understood because of dialect differences...[the last resort is always careful sign language]

Costa ?=for the price

bagno ?= for the bathroom or toilet

giorno= good day

sera= good evening

machina= car

scusi= excuse me or sorry

posta=mailbox or post office
