This Cuthbert Phelps line below is the possible ancestor of the several dna-tested Phelps with origins in Tyrrell.   This hypothesis is very tentative and much more remains to be done on the paper trail and dna research.  The line below was submitted by W. H Freeman who likely is a descendant, with assistance by Douglas K. Phelps, to help in the study.
