WYNN FAMILY BIBLE RECORD

Copies of the pages from the Frederick M. Wynn Family Bible were published by Carole D. Haywood. The entries have been transcribed here exactly as they appear on the copies, however the order of the Marriage, Birth and Death entries may differ from that in the Bible. This bible was published in 1846. The handwriting is the same for all entries up to 1856, presumably the year that Frederick M. Wynn died since the estate records of Tyrrell County contain papers for Frederick Wynne in 1856. His second wife, Caroline, remarried in 1856 to Isaac H. Davenport and the bible came down through the Davenport family with additional entries made by them.

  Frederick M. Wynn and Hariet E. was Married wednesday the 28 of November in the yeare of our Lorde 1838.

  Frederick M. Wynn and Caroline was Married on Monday the 1? of Febuary in the year of our Lorde 1846.

  Isaac H. Davenport and Caroline was married on 16th of November 1856.

  Guilford L. Davenport and Susan E. Cooper was Married Tuesday Sept. 20th A.D. 1881.

  Guilford L. Davenport and Sallie Cherry was married March 29th 1910 4 O'clock in P.M. at the Cupola House, Edenton N.C.

  Frederick M Wynn Son of Silby and Sarah Ann Wynn was born on the 9 of August in the yeare of our Lorde 1815.

  Hariet E. Daughter of Spencer and Sophia Daniel was borne on the 9 of Aug. in the year of our Lorde 1816.

  Caroline daughter of James and Kissey Owens was borne on the 15 of March in the yeare of our Lorde 1827.

  Spencer D. Son of Frederic M. and Hariet E. Wynn was born on the 4 of Oct. in the year of our Lorde 1839.

  Mary Ann Daughter of Frederic M. and Caroline Wynn was borne on the 4 of May in the yeare of our Lorde 1847.

  Harriet C. Daughter of Frederic M. and Caroline Wynn was borne on the 20 of Jan. in the yeare of our Lorde 1850.

  Frederick M. Wynn Son of Frederick M. and Caroline Wynn was born Nov. 25th 1851.
